Globe Valve Body Types

We offer the following globe valve body types:

Angle Valves. Globe valves with angle bodies are easy to maintain and install in tight spaces. Angle globe valves are ideal for applications where piping needs to be redirected or where space is limited.

Straight-through (3-way) valves. Straight-through globe valves provide a straight-through flow path for fluids, thereby reducing pressure drop. This valve body type is ideal for applications that require minimal resistance.

Y-Body Valves: Y-body valves minimize pressure drop and are ideal for high-pressure requirements or applications where pressure loss must be kept to a minimum.

Material Options

Supcon offers globe valves in a variety of materials, including:

Bronze. Bronze valves offer excellent corrosion resistance, making them ideal for seawater and marine systems, piping systems, and other applications exposed to water or corrosive elements.

Cast Iron. Cast iron globe valves are cost-effective and ideal for general purpose applications. They are especially suited for non-corrosive environments where cost is a major consideration.

Stainless Steel. Stainless steel globe valves offer excellent durability, good corrosion resistance, and can handle a wide range of fluids. They are commonly used in chemical and petrochemical applications exposed to corrosive fluids, extreme temperatures and other harsh conditions.
